Job Title:
Employment Litigation Associate (single-plaintiff FEHA cases)
Location:
California - Remote flexibility offered, but must be local to CA, with occasional in-office appearances in one of the law firms offices: Irvine, Los Angeles, Ontario, Oxnard, San Francisco, Fresno, Sacramento, Carlsbad, San Diego, Walnut Creek.
Compensation:
Base salary of $130,000.00 - $195,000.00 (commensurate with experience), plus bonus
Billing / hours:
1900

The Am100 law firm, a prominent California-based practice, seeks a dedicated Associate Attorney to join its employment law team. This position focuses primarily on managing single-plaintiff FEHA cases. The ideal candidate will have experience in employment litigation and exceptional writing skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage single-plaintiff FEHA cases, including drafting pleadings, motions, and legal briefs.
Conduct thorough legal research and produce high-quality written deliverables.
Represent the firm’s clients primarily in state court, with some federal court involvement.
Address occasional wage and hour issues related to FEHA cases.
Communicate effectively with clients and opposing counsel to resolve disputes.
Handle all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, and court appearances.
Qualifications:
Active California Bar license required.
Experience in employment litigation, with a focus on FEHA cases.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Strong academic credentials.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining collaboration with the firm’s team.
Familiarity with federal employment laws is advantageous but not required.
