Job Responsibilities Perform thorough patient evaluations encompassing physical examinations and comprehensive assessments of medical histories Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting imaging and laboratory results Work in tandem with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment plans Provide essential intraoperative support by preparing operating theaters, ensuring patient positioning, and efficiently passing surgical instruments during operations Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, including medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education Education Requirements
Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program Preferably completed clinical rotations with a strong focus on surgery Certifications Required
Current and unrestricted
PA-C
certification BLS
and
ACLS
certification mandatory State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant Essential Skills
