Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented HR Specialist to join our Human Resources team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting a wide range of HR functions, including onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and terminations. The HR Specialist plays a key role in fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate new hire onboarding, compliance, and documentation.
  • Maintain and update employee records in Paylocity and ensure compliance with internal policies and state regulations.
  • Provide guidance to employees and management on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Assist with implementing HR policies and procedures.
  • Handle employee relations issues with professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Process terminations following federal, state, and local guidelines.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in human resources or a related role.
  • 2+ years experience in homecare.
  • Knowledge of complete onboarding process.
  • Knowledge of HR principles, labor laws, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems (e.g., Paylocity).
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of discretion, professionalism, and integrity when dealing with confidential information.

Work Environment
