ALL ABOUT FOOD & BEVERAGE: The Food & Beverage team enables a consistent guest experience by ensuring product is fresh, in stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor. They lead operations including replenishment, inventory accuracy, food safety, presentation, pricing, and promotional signing for all Food & Beverage areas of the store.

• Knowledge of guest service fundamentals and a guest-first culture in Starbucks
• Ability to provide a consistent Starbucks experience by curating handcrafted Starbucks products
• Experience with food quality and freshness management
• Knowledge of state and federal food safety and OSHA guidelines

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional guest experience by preparing quality handcrafted beverages and food, prioritizing the guest’s needs
• Uphold Food & Beverage standards, Starbucks brand standards, and food safety requirements
• Execute food and beverage processes, including deliveries, replenishment, stocking, zoning, in-stocks, cleaning, labeling, and backstock management
• Maintain awareness of promotional activities and ensure a consistent Starbucks experience while driving efficiency and food safety
• Support Drive Up and digital order fulfillment processes; maintain an inviting dining area
• Engage with guests to meet and exceed expectations; follow production cards and department routines
• Monitor and record temperature-sensitive items and complete cleaning tasks as outlined
• Follow proper packaging, labeling, and perishable inventory procedures; identify damaged or recalled items
• Provide back-up cashier and drive-up support as needed while complying with laws
• Perform other duties based on business needs

Qualifications & What We Are Looking For

• Previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred, but not required
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
• Ability to communicate using multiple devices and operate handheld scanners
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; resolve guest questions quickly
• Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
• Ability to stay focused and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays; reliable attendance
• Ability to work in variable temperatures and environments, including handling allergens and payment procedures where applicable
