Overview
Sr. Field Events Marketing Specialist role at SailPoint. The position supports regional field marketing strategies, campaigns, and programs across US East & Canada, coordinating SailPoint-led and 3rd-party regional field events, roundtables, trade shows, and conferences. The role requires an agile, self-starter marketer who orchestrates memorable experiences, drives results, and strategically positions the brand in key market segments. The role reports into and supports the AMS Regional Field Marketing team in driving awareness, generating pipeline, and accelerating the business. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, with a passion for event marketing and a proven track record of success. Key Responsibilities
Field Events Planning and Strategy : Develop and execute field event strategies aligned with Field Marketing objectives, priorities, and integrated campaigns. Use industry trends and competitive insights to inform planning and execution. Own and Execute Field Events : Manage SailPoint-led and 3rd-party field events and roundtables, including local and regional tradeshows and conferences, maximizing demand generation, brand presence, and business impact. End-to-End Events Planning & Delivery : Lead end-to-end event lifecycle from strategy and ideation, venue/vendor selection, contract negotiation, and logistics to on-site execution and post-event evaluation. Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product Marketing, Brand, Communications, and partners. Cross-functional Promotions : Drive engagement and attendance through innovative promotions across channels in alignment with broader marketing initiatives and Sales/ GTM teams. Reporting, Analytics & ROI : Design and implement KPIs, track event outcomes and ROI, provide regular reporting, and use insights to optimize future activations. Market Intelligence : Stay informed about local/regional tradeshows and industry events; identify opportunities for brand positioning, partnerships, and lead generation; monitor competitor activity and regional trends. Budget Management : Oversee event budgets and ensure efficient use of resources and adherence to guidelines. Brand Representation : Uphold SailPoint brand standards across all event activations for a consistent, high-quality experience. Success Factors

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience 4+ years of hands-on field event marketing planning and execution in a fast-paced technology environment Experience planning and executing vendor-led events, roundtables, and local/regional 3rd-party tradeshows and conferences Proven track record of delivering successful field events and activations Strong strategic thinking, project management, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills Proficiency with marketing automation, event management platforms, and analytics tools (e.g., Marketo, CVENT, Salesforce, Tableau) Experience with budget management and vendor management; familiarity with purchase requests in tools like Coupa Strong data analysis skills and ability to report on event success and derive actionable recommendations Ability to adapt strategies to market shifts and thrive in fast-paced environments Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams Willingness to travel (25%-30%) for event coordination and execution Benefits
