This is a role on the social media team reporting to the Associate Director, with the opportunity to be on the ground floor of a fast-growing specialty agency. The Paid Social Strategist (Internal Title: Account Strategist, LinkedIn Advertising) works directly with mid-market and enterprise clients and leads communicating results, creating custom strategies, and executing Paid Media deliverables. You will gain experience creating high-performing LinkedIn strategies for B2B businesses.
Roles & Responsibilities
Oversee and lead a collection of Social Media accounts
Serve as direct support to client contacts
Weekly communication with vendors or operational partners to align tasks, quality, and improvements
Build strategies for clients each quarter
Create, maintain, and optimize budgets for paid media campaigns
Understand client positioning and unique value propositions
Ensure lead routing is accurate within a CRM
Maintain personal productivity and utilization
Collaborate with the Associate Director to meet internal and client goals
Understand the value of Programmatic campaigns
Drive cross-sells, upsells and referrals via client relationships
Execute and optimize LinkedIn advertising campaigns, including ad copy, TAM development, and targeting to maximize ROI
What You Offer
2+ years experience at a performance/digital marketing agency with hands-on experience supporting B2B clients
Deep expertise across paid social advertising campaigns, specifically LinkedIn Ads
Understanding of LinkedIn Ad Units such as conversation ads, document ads, and others
Proficiency with advertising platforms/tools like LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Zoominfo, 6Sense
Strong understanding of paid principles: keyword research, ad copywriting, bid management, campaign optimization
Ability to analyze campaign data using Google Analytics/GA4, Excel, or similar tools to drive optimization
Experience with audience segmentation by tier, job title, etc.
Proven success with mid-market or enterprise accounts
Ability to translate strategy into compelling data stories
Problem solver with a curious, competitive mindset
Always seek opportunities to grow and share knowledge
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Quality-focused with a passion for advertising
Willingness to travel to visit clients approximately once per year or as needed

Meet/exceed department KPIs, including client growth and goal attainment; core KPIs include NSMs and Client Satisfaction scores
Build client trust and relationships to create renewals

Clearly communicate results with client contacts and executives
Make exceptional decisions regarding strategic direction for accounts
Benefits
Salary: The annual base salary range for this position in the United States is $70,000–$80,000 with potential for bonus eligibility. This range is an estimate and may vary based on compensation practices and depth of experience.
