Remote position with opportunities to work across AECOM’s energy practice delivering innovative power solutions for data centers.

Overview AECOM seeks a visionary and dynamic Data Center Section Manager – Power to join our team. In this role, you will work across AECOM’s expansive energy practice, building capabilities, driving growth, and delivering solutions to data center developers and high-tech clients.

Responsibilities

Lead and inspire across AECOM’s energy practice and other business lines to deliver integrated, cutting-edge solutions for data center energy projects.

Inspire and monitor multidisciplinary teams to achieve excellence in project delivery and client satisfaction.

Represent AECOM as a thought leader in the energy sector, shaping the future of power delivery and generation for data centers.

Spearhead business development efforts by identifying opportunities, leading pursuits, and crafting winning proposals.

Build and nurture relationships with data center developers, high-tech clients, and other key stakeholders.

Develop and execute strategies to expand AECOM’s presence in the data center energy market.

Oversee a portfolio of design, development, and implementation of natural gas power plants and substations for data centers, delivering on time and within budget.

Address technical challenges with creativity and leverage AECOM’s global expertise to deliver results.

Collaborate with Buildings + Places and Environment teams to deliver holistic data center solutions.

Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to keep AECOM at the forefront of energy innovations.

Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building across stakeholders.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

BA/BA and 10 years of relevant experience focused on natural gas power plants or substations, or demonstrated equivalency of experience/education, including 2 years of leadership.

Proven success in leading pursuits, managing client relationships, and driving business growth.

Understanding of energy needs for data centers, including reliability, scalability, and sustainability.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with industry standards, codes, and regulations.

Compensation, Location, and Other Details Remote work option. Compensation range: USD 170,000 – USD 205,000 per year. Relocation assistance is not available. Sponsorship for US Employment Authorization is not available.
