Join AECOM as a Data Center Section Manager - Power. We are seeking a visionary and dynamic leader to join our team, working across our expansive energy practice to deliver innovative solutions to data center developers and high-tech clients. This is a remote role, with a focus on natural gas generation and substations. You will lead and inspire multidisciplinary teams, drive growth and innovation, and deliver complex projects that meet the critical energy needs of data centers. Roles and Responsibilities:

Collaborate across AECOM’s energy practice to deliver integrated solutions for data center energy projects. Inspire and monitor teams to achieve excellence in project delivery and client satisfaction. Serve as a thought leader in the energy sector, representing AECOM in industry forums. Drive Growth and Innovation:

Spearhead business development efforts, identifying opportunities and leading pursuits. Build and nurture relationships with data center developers, high-tech clients, and stakeholders. Develop and execute strategies to expand AECOM’s presence in the data center energy market. Deliver Complex Projects:

Oversee a project portfolio, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery. Address technical challenges with creativity and agility, leveraging AECOM’s global expertise. Ensure projects are delivered within budget and to the highest standards. Collaborate and Build Capabilities:

Strengthen technical capabilities and drive continuous improvement across AECOM’s energy practice. Partner with other business lines to deliver holistic solutions for client data center needs. Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies, ensuring AECOM remains innovative. Leadership and Collaboration:

Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate diverse teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building relationships. Strategic thinker with a proactive, results-oriented mindset. Business Acumen:

Minimum requirements include a BA/BS and 10 years of relevant experience, with a focus on natural gas power plants or substations, and 2 years of leadership experience. Proven success in leading pursuits, managing client relationships, and driving business growth. Understanding of the unique energy requirements for data centers, including reliability, scalability, and sustainability. Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with industry standards, codes, and regulations. Additional Information:

Relocation assistance is not available for this role, and sponsorship for US Employment Authorization is not available. The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location, with a range of $170,000 to $205,000 per year.
