Responsibilities

Essential Functions/Responsibility:

The Sr. Analyst, CIB Business Control Unit, operates within the First Line of Defense and is accountable to assist the BCU team on driving effective and consistent business line execution against the Enterprise Risk Management Framework.

Identify and assess key risks throughout the assigned business line by driving compliance with applicable risk frameworks/policies and standards.

Become a subject matter expert and assist with completion of business line risk initiatives, such as risk assessments, KRI/KPI development and monitoring, and on-time remediation of issues.

Effectively partner with various stakeholders.

Job Function Description Monitors activities to minimize the Corporate & Investment Bank's (CIB) exposure to risk. Activities may include quantitative analysis, risk identification and remediation. Represents or supports the reputation of the company to minimize compliance and regulatory risk by resolving issues and ensuring adherence to company and legal standards. Responsible for ensuring that all of the company's activities adhere to the necessary non-financial risk internal policies, rules and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Document issues in the risk management system, with clear action plans and timelines.

Monitor the implementation of corrective actions to ensure that issues are addressed timely.

Ensure Operational Risk Events are documented and escalated in the bank’s escalation platform.

Prepare operational risk and event MIS and committee reports tracking risk concentrations and progress.

Assist in the review and update of issues management and event escalation procedure.

Qualifications

Skills:

Operational Risk Management Experience

Experience in gap or risk analysis

High sense of urgency with ability to drive results

Effective multi-tasking and prioritization skills

Ability to handle diverse workload and tight schedule

Solid time management and organizational skills

Key Competencies:

Organizational governance; Accuracy and attention to detail; Internal controls

Education:

Bachelor\'s Degree or equivalent work experience: Accounting, Business, Statistics, Risk Management, Information Systems, Finance, Economics or equivalent field.

Work Experience:

1-3 years

What Else You Need To Know

The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.

Base Pay Range

Minimum: $52,500.00 USD

Maximum: $87,500.00 USD
