Job Summary As a
Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) , you will be the face of the company to patients visiting for routine health screenings or critical diagnostic needs. This role requires excellent
phlebotomy skills , strong
customer service abilities , and the ability to create an environment of trust and professionalism. The PSR I performs specimen collection, maintains accurate documentation, and ensures patient confidentiality while promoting a safe and supportive clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Collect quality blood samples from patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing according to standard procedures Maintain accurate records and required documentation for compliance and reporting Support patients by explaining collection procedures and ensuring comfort and safety Promote process excellence and uphold confidentiality of patient information Assist in daily activities under supervision, ensuring timeliness and accuracy Maintain a safe, professional, and welcoming environment in the patient services center Follow clinical and forensic collection guidelines with accuracy and professionalism Participate in weekend, holiday, on-call, and overtime coverage as needed Required Experience
Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience Customer service experience in retail or healthcare environment Keyboard/data entry proficiency Required Education
High school diploma or equivalent (Required) Phlebotomy certification
Required in California Medical assistant or paramedic training (Preferred) Nice-to-Have Experience
1+ years of phlebotomy experience preferred Experience with pediatric and geriatric patients preferred Required Skills Phlebotomy Specimen preparation Customer service Data entry accuracy
Preferred Skills Healthcare customer support Clinical safety compliance Medical documentation
