Our client is an organization in the Milwaukee County area that's looking for an Accounting Supervisor. Our client is looking for someone with 5+ years of experience, analytical, and excellent communication skills. The salary for this position is $95k.

The Accounting Supervisor will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise and manage the A/P and A/R teams, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
  • Oversee the processing of invoices, payments, and collections, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve financial processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues related to payments and collections.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators.
  • Train and mentor team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies.
The Accounting Supervisor will possess the following:

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable management.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
