We're seeking an experienced and driven Senior Accountant to bring precision, insight, and leadership to our dynamic finance team. In this role, you'll be at the heart of key financial operations - managing month-end close, preparing consolidated reports, and supporting audits - all while improving systems and processes that drive strategic decision-making.
This position goes beyond the ledger. You'll guide budgeting efforts, enhance reporting accuracy, and help oversee the financial health of a growing, multi-entity organization. If you thrive on details but think strategically, we'd love to see what you bring to the table.
What You'll Do- Lead the preparation of accurate and timely journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements
- Manage consolidation entries and eliminate intercompany transactions across multiple business units
- Collaborate across departments to support operational goals and provide financial insight
- Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual external reporting, including audit support
- Monitor financial performance by analyzing revenues, expenses, variances, and special reports
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions
- Oversee accounting operations for subsidiaries - ensuring compliance, consistency, and efficiency
- Maintain and evolve internal financial systems, troubleshoot issues, and train team members
- Promote continuous learning through professional development and engagement with industry trends
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles
- Advanced Excel proficiency and experience with ERP systems (NetSuite highly preferred)
- Meticulous record-keeping and sharp attention to detail
- Comfortable working with sensitive data and navigating complex reconciliations
- Resourceful problem-solver who thrives under deadlines and shifting priorities
- Self-starter with leadership qualities and an eagerness to improve processes
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field (CPA or advanced degree preferred)
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting, ideally in complex or multi-entity environments
- Public accounting experience and background in acquisitions or consolidations are a plus
