Overview
Administrative Assistant role at Hyde Park Restaurant Group. The Hyde Park Restaurant Group is seeking an Administrative Assistant to work at our corporate office in Columbus, OH that supports restaurant operations. We are a stable company with 12 properties in 5 states and have been in business for over 35 years! We are growing and looking for additional support roles. This is a full-time, in-person, salaried role with a 5-day work week, Monday–Friday, 8:30–5:30.
Responsibilities
- Proofreading manuals, documents, memos, and letters
- Records keeping and logging items such as expenses and credit card receipts
- Ordering office supplies and other restaurant-related items
- Retains and logs contracts and renewal dates
- Assist in corporate inventory of items
- Assist and participate in delivery and shipping of items to locations and returns
- Complete daily, weekly and monthly tasks in Excel as assigned
- Update training materials and policies
- Prepare external meetings by ensuring attendees have information necessary to be productive
- Assist in communications by drafting updates, reports, presentations, and other marketing materials using spreadsheets, databases, and publishing applications
- Help facilitate completion of special projects by organizing, coordinating information, and communicating requirements
- Utilize email, electronic calendars, and other office software for time management and meeting coordination
- Update and prepare training materials
- Assist with OpenTable floor plan as directed
Qualifications
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent proofreading skills
- Highest level of integrity and ability to manage confidential information
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate clearly and concisely
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines; ability to work from a to-do list
- Ability to recognize, create, and take initiative on opportunities to achieve organizational objectives
- 1+ years of experience
