Position Overview

The HR Coordinator will be the backbone of BIBA’s people operations, ensuring that our team embodies the same refinement, discretion, and creativity that define the member experience. This role supports recruitment, onboarding, training, and employee engagement across the property, while maintaining compliance with employment standards and company policies.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, approachable, and highly organized, with a passion for cultivating a workplace culture that aligns with BIBA’s ethos of sophistication and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Support the hiring process by posting jobs, screening candidates, and scheduling interviews.
  • Coordinate new hire paperwork, background checks, and pre-employment requirements.
  • Manage onboarding logistics and ensure each new team member receives a refined introduction to BIBA’s culture and service standards.

Employee Relations & Support

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries, directing them to the most suitable resources.
  • Maintain a confidential and professional approach to employee relations.
  • Support initiatives that promote employee engagement, retention, and a positive work environment.

Training & Development

  • Assist in coordinating training programs focused on BIBA’s service rituals, compliance, and professional growth.
  • Track participation and maintain accurate training records.

HR Administration & Compliance

  • Maintain personnel files and HRIS data with accuracy and discretion.
  • Process employee status changes, benefits enrollments, and time-off requests.
  • Support compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, as well as internal policies.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Hospitality, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in HR or people operations, ideally in hospitality or luxury service environments.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a polished and professional presence.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive matters with discretion.
  • Proficiency in HRIS platforms, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
