$22.14 - $28.78 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience. Are you ready to lead a team in providing exceptional urgent care? As the Lead Urgent Care Technician, you will take the helm, using your advanced knowledge and skills to support our dedicated healthcare professionals in delivering top-notch patient care. You will work under the guidance of physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and registered nurses, providing crucial, emergent care to patients. Key Responsibilities: Facilitate the development, implementation, and review of departmental policies and procedures. Mentor and evaluate team members, enhancing their performance in productivity and quality management. Coordinate services, manage workflows, and foster effective decision-making within your team. Lead by example, guiding team members in addressing complex and novel situations. Exhibit critical thinking, sound judgment, and the ability to thrive under minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment. Required Qualifications: Emergency Medical Technician, Licensed Practical Nurse, Certified Medical Assistant, Registered Medical Assistant, EMT-Paramedic, or completion of military medic course. High school diploma or GED. Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification. IV proficiency within 6 months of hire. A relevant credential: CMA; RMA; State licensure as EMT, EMT-I, or Paramedic; or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
