As the Lead Urgent Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care within our team. You will lead your colleagues by demonstrating advanced knowledge of urgent care responsibilities and work collaboratively to ensure the highest standard of patient service under the supervision of healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities: Help develop, implement, and evaluate departmental policies and procedures to enhance service delivery. Mentor and coach team members on their performance, focusing on productivity and quality management. Coordinate services and prioritize assignments to facilitate optimal workflow and problem-solving. Handle complex issues and provide guidance to team members when needed. Utilize critical thinking skills and decisive judgment to thrive in a fast-paced work environment with minimal supervision. Qualifications: Emergency Medical Technician Licensed Practical Nurse Certified Medical Assistant Registered Medical Assistant EMT-Paramedic High school diploma or GED. Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification; IV proficiency as per department guidelines within 6 months of hire; one of the following credentials: CMA; RMA; State licensure as EMT, EMT-I, or Paramedic; completion of military medic course (no renewal required); Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer, valid before start date.
