Join our team as a Lead Urgent Care Technician, where you will guide and support your colleagues in providing outstanding patient care. You will play a crucial role in the urgent care department by delivering essential patient care under the supervision of physicians and nursing staff. Responsibilities: Assist in developing, implementing, and evaluating departmental policies and procedures. Mentor and evaluate team members' performance, focusing on productivity and quality management. Coordinate services, prioritize tasks, and encourage effective problem-solving within the team. Perform essential responsibilities of the role, addressing complex situations and providing guidance to team members. Utilize critical thinking skills and decisive judgment to act promptly in a fast-paced environment. Requirements: Emergency Medical Technician Licensed Practical Nurse Certified Medical Assistant Registered Medical Assistant EMT-Paramedic High school diploma or GED. Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification. IV proficiency per department guidelines within 6 months of hire. One of the following credentials: CMA; RMA; State licensure as EMT, EMT-I, or Paramedic; military medic course completion (no renewal required); Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). 2 years of relevant experience. BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross must be valid prior to the start date.
