is seeking an experienced and skilled

Maintenance Director

to join Benchmark Senior Living. The Director is primarily responsible for maintenance and housekeeping functions within an assisted living facility. This person is expected to have a hands-on role in overall operations as well as administrative functions. Monday-Friday schedule with Manager on Duty Rotation Salary Range: $70-75,000 Responsibilities

Use maintenance skills to perform hands-on tasks including electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and general maintenance. Interact with staff and residents; oversee staff, payroll, operational expenses, and supply and capital expenditures. Communication and coordination of people and tasks to accomplish repairs and alterations to buildings and equipment systems. Provide technical support, product information, research, and quality assurance guidance. Establish and monitor a preventative maintenance program that promotes well-being and esthetic appeal for residents and staff. Maintain OSHA and fire code compliance. Other maintenance functions as required. The Director must be an experienced maintenance professional with a strong skillset. Candidates must have previous maintenance and housekeeping management experience in a long-term care or assisted living facility. Strong working knowledge of applicable building systems, including mechanical/electrical/plumbing with emphasis on HVAC. Requirements

Understanding of applicable life safety regulations. Demonstrated ability to run a successful maintenance and housekeeping department. Experience in facilities management capacity. Good communication skills. Previous supervisory experience required. Diagnostic abilities and attention to detail. Understanding of proper handling of biohazardous waste. Benefits
