Field Events Marketing Specialist — US West & Central. We are seeking a dynamic, hands-on Field Events Marketing Specialist to serve as a tactical executor and planner of SailPoint-led and 3rd-party regional field events across US West & Central, in alignment with regional Field Marketing strategies, campaigns, and programs. This role thrives on orchestrating memorable experiences, driving results, and positioning the brand in key market segments through local and regional events, roundtables, tradeshows, and conferences. The role reports into and supports the AMS Regional Field Marketing team in driving awareness, generating pipeline, and accelerating the business. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and has a proven track record in event marketing. Key Responsibilities
Field Events Planning : Develop and execute comprehensive field events that align with Field Marketing objectives, priorities, and integrated campaigns. Own and Execute Field Events : Manage SailPoint-led and 3rd-party field events and roundtables, including local and regional tradeshows and conferences, to maximize demand generation, brand presence, and business impact. End-to-End Events Planning & Delivery : Lead the full lifecycle of event management from ideation and venue/vendor selection to contract negotiation, logistics, on-site execution, and post-event evaluation. Collaborate with Sales, Product Marketing, Brand, Communications, and external partners to deliver cohesive experiences. Cross-functional Promotions : Drive engagement and attendance through innovative promotional strategies across channels, aligned with broader marketing initiatives and coordinated with Sales and GTM teams. Reporting, Analytics & ROI : Track KPIs, event outcomes, and ROI; provide regular reporting and data-driven insights to optimize future activations. Market Intelligence : Stay informed on local/regional tradeshows and industry events to identify opportunities for brand positioning, partnerships, and lead generation; monitor competitor activity and market trends. Budget Management : Oversee event budgets and ensure resources are used efficiently and within guidelines. Brand Representation : Maintain brand standards across all event activations for a consistent, high-quality experience. Success Factors

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience 2+ years of hands-on field event marketing planning and execution in a fast-paced technology environment Experience planning and executing vendor-led events, roundtables, and local/regional 3rd-party tradeshows and conferences Proven track record delivering successful field events and activations Strong planning, project management, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills Proficiency with marketing automation, event management platforms, and analytics tools (e.g., Marketo, CVENT, Salesforce, Tableau) Budget management, vendor/supplier management, and purchasing using tools such as Coupa Strong data analysis skills and ability to derive actionable recommendations from event data Ability to adapt plans quickly to market shifts and handle ambiguity in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams Willingness to travel 25%-30% for event coordination and execution Benefits & Compensation
Benefits and compensation vary by location and employment type. The role may be eligible for the SailPoint Corporate Bonus Plan, role-specific commissions, and potential equity participation. Base salary ranges shown are indicative and vary by location. Base salary range (US-based): $59,700 - $85,300 - $110,900. Salary details for other locations are competitive for the home location.
