This role focuses on clinical product and technical training support for physicians and EP lab staff, with a pathway from a 6-9 month training program to a Clinical Account Specialist role. The ACAS will be hired for a specific company sales area and relocate to that pre-identified sales area after completion of the ACAS Training Program. The ACAS will provide expert clinical product and technical assistance and training to physicians and EP lab staff on the use of BWI’s systems and catheter equipment (e.g., The CARTO System, associated software modules and RF generator) during case procedures within an assigned geography. Upon successful graduation from the program, the ACAS will be promoted to a Clinical Account Specialist (CAS). The expectation is to meet and/or exceed business goals. Attend all portions of the ACAS fellowship training program without exception. Engage with multiple internal and external partners and stakeholders, formulating solutions based on training insights. Understand the dynamics of an EP lab, including physicians, nurses, technicians, and hospital staff. Prioritize and respond to requests in a high-stress environment. Maintain composure and problem-solving focus during interactions. Respond daily to requests by email and voicemail. Drive collaboration and maintain open communication with local teams, support teams, and external partners. Adhere to health, safety, and environmental practices and ensure resources are available and in good condition. Follow all company compliance with federal, state, local laws and company guidelines. The Company maintains competitive, performance-based compensation programs. This position is eligible for an annual performance bonus. The base salary is $75,000 and the role is eligible for a company car through the Fleet program. Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree required by hire date, or minimum of 2 years of related professional experience (engineering or procedural hospital setting) with an Associate’s degree, or minimum of 1 year of EP mapping experience with an Associate’s degree, or graduation from an accredited program with EP focus with Bachelor’s degree, or military service with Associate’s degree. Priority given to candidates with degrees in Biology, Biochemistry, Cardiac Function & Interventional Technology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Engineering disciplines, Health Sciences, Kinesiology, Informatics/Data Science, Pharmaceutical Science, Physics, Technical Design, or related fields. Valid US driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 40% overnight local, regional, and national travel. Advanced clinical knowledge of cardiac ablation and cardiac imaging, technical knowledge of EP technology, and the ability to multitask with minimal supervision.
