Job Description

The Associate Clinical Account Specialist (ACAS) position is a 6-9 month training program for those with little to no electrophysiology (EP) experience. Upon graduation, the ACAS is promoted to a Clinical Account Specialist (CAS). As a CAS the candidate will provide expert clinical product and technical assistance and training to physicians and EP lab staff on the use of BWI’s systems and catheter equipment (e.g., The CARTO System, software modules and RF generator) during case procedures within an assigned geography. The role aims to meet and/or exceed business goals.

Position Components

Attend all portions of the ACAS fellowship training program without exception.

Engage with internal and external partners, formulating solutions based on training feedback.

Understand the EP lab dynamics, including physicians, nurses, technicians, and administrators.

Prioritize and respond to requests in a high-stress environment.

Maintain composure and problem-solving focus during stressful interactions.

Respond daily to requests by email and voicemail.

Drive collaboration and maintain open communication across the local team, support teams, and partners.

Follow all company health, safety, and environmental guidelines and ensure resources are available.

Adhere to all federal, state, local, and company regulations, policies, and procedures.

The Company offers a competitive, performance-based compensation program. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus and a base salary of $75,000. The position is eligible for a company car through the Fleet program. Qualifications

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required by the hire date, or a minimum of 2 years of related professional experience with an Associate’s degree, or a minimum of 1 year of EP mapping experience with an Associate’s degree, or graduation from an accredited program or industry prep school with a focus on EP with a Bachelor’s degree, or military experience with an Associate’s degree.

Priority given to candidates with degrees in biology, biochemistry, cardiac function & interventional technology, chemistry, computer science, engineering, health sciences, kinesiology, informatics/data science, pharmaceutical science, physics, or related fields.

Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to travel up to 40% (overnight, local, regional, and national).

Advanced clinical knowledge of cardiac ablation and cardiac imaging; technical knowledge of EP technology; strong multitasking ability with limited supervision.

Willingness to relocate to the pre-identified sales area after completion of the ACAS Training Program. No work visa sponsorships or OPT/CPT acceptance for this role.
