Role The SVP of Marketing Enablement is responsible for empowering the marketing team with the tools, processes, and resources necessary to develop artists, foster fan relationships, and execute campaigns with maximum efficiency and impact. The role collaborates with the WMG Technology team to spearhead development and integration of cutting-edge tools, platforms, and technologies to elevate WMG’s marketing capabilities. It also involves managing relationships with third-party marketing service providers, establishing and optimizing operational workflows across global, regional, and local marketing structures, and overseeing the marketing technology R&D roadmap to drive innovation.

Responsibilities

Build a new Marketing Enablement specialism across WMG, providing global, regional, and local marketing teams with access to data, platforms, third-party service providers, and workflows.

Oversee WMG’s approach to marketing tooling, complete a full marketing tools audit (cost, use cases, recommendations), and rationalize the portfolio by eliminating overlapping or non-value-add vendors.

Identify opportunities and partner with WMG Technology to design, develop, and implement required marketing tools, platforms, and technologies.

Oversee third-party marketing service providers, ensuring access to specialized expertise and resources; audit providers and develop a roadmap to address gaps across local, regional, and global teams.

Negotiate and manage global vendor relationships to optimize service quality and cost-effectiveness; establish guidelines and best practices for using external partners.

Partner with Tech to ensure 1st and 3rd party data is stored in a centralized, accurate, compliant repository, prioritizing data migration based on business needs.

Formalize Marketing Operations globally with standardized workflows to enhance performance, tooling, and data usage; optimize workflows across global structures for alignment and consistency.

Integrate new solutions into workflows to boost efficiency and effectiveness; partner with Product Operations to run training initiatives for marketers to fully utilize marketing technologies.

Identify and address inefficiencies to improve process speed and scalability; collaborate with Marketing Intelligence and Data Teams to develop programs for marketing attribution.

Lead the marketing technology R&D roadmap, pilot and scale solutions, and ensure regional teams can experiment within aligned workflows.

Define working processes between the Marketing Intelligence team and key cross-functional stakeholders to deliver optimal services to marketers.

About you

15+ years of experience in marketing technology with a strong track record in marketing operations or enablement.

Proven expertise in developing and implementing marketing tools within a multinational company.

Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams and initiatives.

Exceptional project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to problem-solving and a passion for innovation.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

Experience working within creative or entertainment industries.

Additional information This position requires in-office presence, with a minimum of four days per week in the office. Salary range: $210,000 to $275,000 annually. The pay range is subject to change and depends on experience and business needs.
