We are seeking a dynamic Social Media Manager to drive culturally fluent and platform-native social media campaigns for our premier subscription service brand. This role will focus on developing paid social content across multiple platforms while collaborating closely with creative, media, marketing, and PR teams. The ideal candidate will have deep experience engaging Gen Z and multicultural audiences, with a proven track record of building long-term brand equity through innovative social strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute compelling paid social content across TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and Snapchat Create comprehensive creative briefs that inspire breakthrough ideas and drive platform-native content Ensure all content is rooted in social and cultural insights while meeting platform-specific best practices Drive continuous optimization through test-and-learn approaches Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner closely with creative teams to develop socially-optimized content that aligns with brand truths and values Collaborate with media teams to promote paid social content effectively Work seamlessly across marketing and PR teams in a matrixed organization structure Manage external agency partnerships and vendor relationships Project Management & Execution
Lead social brief development, creative production, and campaign execution from concept to completion Manage complex cross-functional projects with diverse stakeholders Own social marketing metrics, KPIs, and performance reporting to leadership Drive project timelines and deliverables across multiple competing priorities Strategic Innovation
Research and identify opportunities within new and existing social platforms Stay current with audience trends, platform updates, and emerging social formats Develop scalable social constructs that can be applied across multiple brand campaigns Champion inclusive campaign work and multicultural marketing initiatives Required Qualifications
Experience & Education
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field 7-10 years of relevant social media marketing experience Both agency and client-side experience strongly preferred Experience in matrixed organizational environments Platform Expertise
Advanced knowledge of TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and Snapchat Deep understanding of platform-specific content formats and best practices Proficiency with social media scheduling software and analytics tools Experience with paid social campaign management and optimization Audience & Cultural Focus
Proven experience developing content for Gen Z audiences Strong background in multicultural marketing and inclusive campaign development Genuine passion for engaging diverse, culture-driving communities Understanding of current cultural trends and social conversations Core Competencies
