The opportunity focuses on delivering SAP manufacturing solutions aimed at transforming manufacturing operations to improve cost, efficiency, quality, and effectiveness. As a Senior Manager in our Technology practice, you will interact with business stakeholders to evaluate and analyze business models, processes, and operations, translate business requirements into technical specifications, and collaborate with technical teams to design and deliver system architecture solutions. Your Key Responsibilities Leading engagement delivery and managing client relationships on a daily basis. Overseeing program/project management and ensuring engagement economics are met. Developing resource plans and budgets for complex engagements. Leading large-scale SAP client engagements or work streams, ensuring alignment with client objectives. Demonstrating in-depth technical capabilities and strong business acumen; staying abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the client. Consistently delivering high-quality client services by monitoring progress, managing risks, and keeping key stakeholders informed of developments and expected outcomes. Building and maintaining client relationships at all levels to foster collaboration and trust. Leading and mentoring diverse teams, providing feedback and coaching; fostering an innovative, inclusive environment. Identifying and generating new business opportunities by understanding EY’s service lines and proactively meeting client needs; cultivating long-term client relationships across EY practices. Skills And Attributes For Success Understand stakeholder needs and advise on SAP capabilities; lead requirement gathering, architect solutions, blueprinting, testing, and functional design; coordinate configurations and integrations with SAP and non-SAP systems. Strong technical skills in application functional design and technology requirements; ability to map cost-benefit scenarios. Experience in system configuration design and business architecture frameworks; excellent communication and ability to influence and negotiate. To qualify for the role, you must have Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred. Typically 5-7 years of relevant experience. At least five (5) years of experience in SAP Production Planning (PP) in a functional consulting or configuration role. Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills. Experience managing SAP projects or work streams with oversight of project-based team members. Knowledge of best practices in supply chain and advisory experience related to supply chain technology functions. Ability to research client inquiries and emerging issues (regulations, industry practices, new technologies). Willingness to travel (40-60%). Experience performing technology cost-benefit analyses and familiarity with technology business architecture frameworks. Skills in training design and delivery. Ideally, you’ll also have Prior consulting industry experience. SAP certification(s). Experience as a workstream/team lead for manufacturing with SAP. Experience with at least two full lifecycle SAP ERP (ECC and/or S/4HANA) implementations, focusing on PP module; at least one full lifecycle with MRP; PP integrated with MES and QM. Hands-on SAP PP configuration experience; ability to design custom RICEF solutions and write functional specifications. Experience writing/testing training materials for end users and knowledge of PP integration with FICO, EWM, PPDS, PLM, MDM, and Materials Management. Knowledge of manufacturing operations, engineering BOMs and manufacturing BOMs; experience with Make to Stock and Make/Engineer/Configure to Order models. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $171,600 to $392,100; for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) it is $205,900 to $445,700. Salaries depend on factors including education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography; Total Rewards include medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k), and paid time off options. Hybrid model: most client-serving roles are expected to work in person 40-60% of the time over engagements or projects.
