Our SAP Manufacturing professionals deliver strategic solutions to transform manufacturing operations, improving cost, efficiency, quality, and effectiveness. Your Role As a Senior Manager in our Technology practice, you will interact with business stakeholders to evaluate and analyze business models, processes, and operations. You will translate business requirements into technical specifications and ensure that newly implemented technology solutions meet these requirements. Your collaboration with technical teams will be crucial in designing and delivering effective system architecture solutions. Key Responsibilities Leading engagement delivery and managing client relationships on a daily basis. Overseeing program/project management and ensuring engagement economics are met. Developing resource plans and budgets for complex engagements. Leading large-scale SAP client engagements or work streams, ensuring alignment with client objectives. Demonstrating in-depth technical capabilities and strong business acumen; staying abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the client’s business. Consistently delivering high-quality client services by monitoring progress, managing risks, and keeping stakeholders informed of developments and expected outcomes. Building and maintaining relationships with client personnel at all levels to foster collaboration and trust. Effectively leading and motivating diverse teams, providing feedback and coaching; fostering an inclusive, innovative, and collaborative work environment while mentoring junior consultants. Identifying and generating new business opportunities by understanding EY’s service lines and proactively assessing ways to meet client needs; cultivating long-term client relationships across EY practices. Skills and Attributes for Success On engagements, you will understand stakeholder needs, advise on SAP system capabilities, initiate requirements gathering, architect solutions, blueprint, test, and document workflows and functional designs. You will translate needs into business solutions and perform configurations and/or integrations with SAP and non-SAP systems. Strong technical skills in application functional design and technology requirements definition. Ability to analyze and map technology cost-benefit scenarios. Expertise in system configuration design and business architecture frameworks. Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred. Typically 5-7 years of relevant experience. At least five (5) years of experience in SAP Production Planning (PP) within a functional consulting or system configuration role. Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills. Experience managing SAP projects or work streams, including oversight of project-based team members. Knowledge of best practices in supply chain and advisory experience related to supply chain technologies. Ability to research client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations, industry practices, and new technologies. Willingness to travel (40-60% travel expected). Experience with technology cost-benefit analyses and familiarity with technology business architecture frameworks. Skills in training design and delivery. Ideally, you’ll also have Prior consulting industry experience. SAP certification(s). Experience as a workstream/team lead for manufacturing with SAP. Experience with at least two full lifecycle SAP ERP implementations (ECC and/or S/4HANA) in PP; experience with MRP; MES integration; QM experience. Hands-on SAP PP configuration experience; ability to design RICEF solutions and write functional specifications. Experience writing and executing test scripts and training materials for end users. Knowledge of integration between SAP PP and FICO, EWM, PPDS, PLM, MDM, and Materials Management. Understanding of manufacturing operations and product lifecycle management, including BOMs. Experience with Make to Stock and Make/Engineer/Configure to Order models.
