The Maricopa County Community College District (MCCCD) Office of General Counsel has an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and knowledgeable Equal Opportunity & Title IX Program Director to provide regional leadership and support across our 10-college district. The Equal Opportunity & Title IX Program Director is essential to supporting the Title IX/ Title VI Office and its efforts to ensure compliance with anti-discrimination laws and oversees and coordinates all aspects of Title IX and Title VI compliance. Essential Functions
Manages and provides oversight for District-wide Title IX and Title VI case management Leads efforts in the region to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements related to Title IX and Title VI Serves as an expert and resource for the Title IX Analyst (Pregnancy & Parenting) for pregnancy and parenting requests and processing within the assigned areas Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications
Master's Degree from a regionally accredited institution in education, educational leadership, or related field, and four (4) years of educational program administration experience that includes two (2) years of case management and investigation. Desired Qualifications
Juris Doctor degree Title IX Investigator and or EEO investigator training certification Three (3) years or more of progressively responsible experience in a related field Three (3) years of experience conducting and supervising investigations alleging harassment and /or discrimination Special Working Conditions
The position will be located at MCCCD District office The position may be required to travel to colleges, as needed, to fulfill the role EEO, Title IX, & Clery Act
