We are partnering with a fantastic Am Law 100 firm in their search for an experienced Labor & Employment Associate in New York City.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
Significant employment litigation experience
(3-4 years) defending employers in federal and state courts and before administrative agencies (e.g., EEOC, DOL, and their local equivalents). Must have experience handling all facets of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, e-discovery, motion practice, deposition preparation, and drafting position statements. Experience counseling employers
on a variety of employment issues, including: Leave entitlement, hiring, terminations, and discipline, and handbook policies, employment agreements, and wage and hour compliance. Preferred (not required):
Experience with wage and hour class/collective action litigation. A plus:
Experience advising on and litigating restrictive covenant agreements. Must be admitted to the NY Bar.
Admission to the NJ and/or PA Bars is a plus. Ideal for individuals seeking to advance their careers by handling
sophisticated matters
in a
collegial, entrepreneurial setting . Base pay range:
$245,000.00/yr - $285,000.00/yr Additional compensation types:
