Labor & Employment Associate Attorney
Our client, an Am Law 100 law firm, is seeking an associate with 3-4 years of employment law experience to join its Labor and Employment Group in New York City. The estimated salary range for this position is
$245,000 - $285,000 (annually)
and may vary depending on experience and other factors. Qualifications: 3-4 years of employment law experience Experience working in the employment practice of a prominent law firm Experience defending employers in federal and state courts and before administrative agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Department of Labor, and their state and local law equivalents, including experience handling multiple facets of a litigation, including responding to complaints, drafting and responding to discovery, e-discovery and the production of documents, drafting dispositive and other motions, preparing for depositions, and drafting position statements Experience with counseling employers on various employment-related issues, including leave entitlement, hiring, terminations, discipline, handbook policies and procedures, employment agreements, wage and hour issues, and other matters affecting the employment relationship Experience with wage and hour class/collective action litigation experience preferred but not required Experience with advising and defending/prosecuting restrictive covenant agreements a plus Superior attention to detail, excellent oral and written communication skills, exceptional analytical skills JD from an accredited law school and excellent academic credentials Must be admitted to practice law in New York; admission in New Jersey, and/or Pennsylvania, is a plus, but not required About Us Marina Sirras & Associates LLC is a boutique legal recruiting firm committed to connecting exceptional legal talent with top-tier law firms and in-house legal departments nationwide.
