Under the direct supervision of Food Service Director, this position:
Drives food carts to deliver food and supplies to cottages. Performs general food service/warehouse duties on campus. Follows established work schedules and training procedures. Demonstrates correct techniques of rotating all food items. Maintains food service records and fills phone orders. Prepares records and check off lists. Follows dry stores and refrigerated food procedures to ensure optimum storage conditions. These positions are located at Coastal Regional Center, an Intermediate Care Facility for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities (ICF-IID) of BHDD-OIDD located in Summerville, SC serving residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Minimum and Additional Requirements
There are no minimum training and experience requirements for this class. A valid SC Driver's License is required for this position.
Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, and repetitive motions. Subject to outside and inside conditions. Physical requirements of exerting up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally, an/or up to 50 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force constantly to move objects. Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of the procurement, storage, preparation, distribution and serving of food products. Knowledge of dietetic principles involved in planning and reviewing menus for nutritional adequacy, dietary balance and attractiveness of prepared food products. Knowledge of the methods, materials and appliances used in a bakery. Ability to teach food preparation and cooking. Ability to maintain food service records and prepare written reports.
