Business Development Manager - Transportation & Freight

We are seeking a proven Business Development Specialist/Manager to drive growth in our transportation and freight services. This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and developing tailored logistics solutions that align with client needs. This role will also have an already established client list to help manage and maintain relationships with & further grow those relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategies to grow revenue and expand our customer base.

Identify, prospect, and secure new shippers, carriers, and logistics partners.

Maintain and strengthen long-term client relationships through excellent service and communication.

Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements to achieve business goals.

Collaborate with operations to ensure seamless execution of transportation solutions.

Track market trends and competitor activity to inform growth strategies.

Qualifications

Proven sales or business development experience in transportation, logistics, or freight brokerage.

Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.

Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

Results-driven with a focus on achieving targets.
