This role is crucial for our retail operations. As a Customer Service Representative, you will engage with both wholesale and retail customers to identify their needs and provide them with answers regarding Sherwin-Williams products, offering tailored recommendations. Your responsibilities will include promptly addressing customer concerns to ensure maximum satisfaction, while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of product features. Additionally, you will support the store's sales objectives by delivering top-notch customer service.
Please note that this position involves interaction with customers, including minors, and access to cash, personal information, and other valuable items. Therefore, a review of criminal history will be conducted to safeguard our customers and employees.
The selected candidate will work at Store #5462, located at 736 Glen Street, Queensbury, NY 12804, and may be assigned to other stores within a 30-mile radius. Assist customers both in-person and over the phone by understanding their needs and presenting suitable products and services. Build trust-based relationships with wholesale and retail customers. Process sales transactions accurately, following all policies and procedures. Consistently achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals. Maintain precise work order files and formulas. Retrieve the appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse. Tint and mix products according to customer specifications. Restock shelves and set up displays. Clean store equipment. Load/unload delivery trucks and assist with deliveries as needed. Maintain assigned areas to ensure they are in-stock and visually appealing. Stay knowledgeable about the products offered and discuss available options with customers. Adhere to inventory control procedures. Propose strategies to enhance sales. Minimum Requirements:
Must be at least eighteen (18) years old. Must be authorized to work in the country without sponsorship for a work visa. Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License. Must be capable of lifting and carrying materials up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation. Must be willing to work scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation. Preferred Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED preferred. One (1) year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service preferred. Previous experience selling paint and related products is advantageous. Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment is preferred. Ability to communicate in multiple languages, especially Spanish, is a plus.
