This role is crucial to the success of our retail operations. As a Customer Service Representative, you will engage with both wholesale and retail customers to understand their needs, provide insightful information about Sherwin-Williams products, and suggest the best solutions to meet their requirements. Your objective will be to address any customer inquiries or concerns promptly, ensuring that every client walks away satisfied. You will also stay current with product features and maintain the high visual standards of the store.
This position is located at Store #707328, 405 Anglers Dr. Unit A, PMB 84, Steamboat Springs, CO 80487.
As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to:
Provide exceptional customer service to enhance client satisfaction.
Assist customers in person and over the phone, identifying their needs and presenting suitable products and services.
Foster strong relationships with wholesale and retail clients.
Accurately process sales transactions in line with company policies.
Work towards meeting sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
Maintain accurate work order files and formulations.
Retrieve products from the sales floor or warehouse as required.
Mix and tint products according to customer specifications.
Organize and restock shelves and create visually appealing displays.
Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of store equipment.
Assist in loading/unloading delivery trucks and making deliveries when needed.
Maintain a tidy and presentable store environment.
Stay informed about product offerings to provide informed discussions on available options.
Adhere to inventory control procedures.
Propose ideas to enhance sales performance.
Minimum Requirements:
Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
Must have legal authorization to work in the country without requiring sponsorship.
Must be able to lifting up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally with or without reasonable accommodation.
Must be available to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends.
If currently employed by Sherwin-Williams, you must have received a 'meets expectations' rating on your most recent evaluation.
If currently employed by Sherwin-Williams, you must have completed all required HR Cloud eLearning courses.
Preferred Qualifications:
Valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
High School diploma or GED.
At least one (1) year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service.
Previous experience selling paint and related products.
Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment.
Fluency in more than one language is a plus.
Ability to communicate effectively in Spanish is highly desirable.
