Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant at neuro42 in San Francisco, CA. The Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day financial activities, including managing accounts payable/receivable, preparing financial statements, and conducting financial analysis. The Accountant will also support budgeting, forecasting, and auditing processes.
Maintain accurate financial records (general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll).
Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow.
Prepare financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations; prepare and file taxes.
Support audits and liaise with auditors.
Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes.
Identify and implement process improvements.
Provide ad-hoc financial analysis for management.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CMA preferred).
3–5 years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping.
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, SAP) and advanced Excel.
Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
Excellent communication and attention to detail.
Financial accounting, financial analysis, and budgeting skills.
Audit and compliance knowledge.
