Job Description
The Community Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire operations of a housing community under the supervision of the Regional Manager. As a Community Manager, you will manage all phases of the operations, including personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial, administration & risk management. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Personnel Management: Use consistent techniques & company directives to screen, hire, train, coach, and develop on-site staff. Financial Management: Achieve the highest possible net operating income through the implementation of effective cost control and revenue & leasing improvement. Strategic Leasing Management: Develop yearly marketing plan and utilize marketing strategies & systems. Administrative & Maintenance Management: Ensure all administrative & leasing reporting is accurate, complete, and submitted on a timely basis. Education/Experience
High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four year’s experience in the housing industry. Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred. Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required. Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate with others to exchange information. The employee is frequently required to remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods. License/Equipment
Must have reliable transportation due to the emergency on-call requirement. At Asset Living, a variety of factors are considered in making compensation decisions, including, but not limited to: skill set, background and training, certifications, etc. Our employment offer is accompanied by additional compensation associated with our comprehensive total rewards package.
