Director of People Analytics – Everest
We are seeking a strategic and technically skilled Director of People Analytics to join our global HR function. This role will drive data-informed decision-making and data visualization across HR COEs. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Workday and advanced analytics tools to transform complex data into actionable insights for executive leadership. This is a Hybrid position based out of Warren, NJ.

Role & Responsibilities
Advance reporting and data transformation to improve Everest’s approach to HR management, supporting management through reporting on metrics important to both HR and the business, while driving enhancements in technology enablement and data reliability.
Develop and maintain dashboards and scorecards for executive reporting, including CEO-level insights.
Translate metric priorities into new dashboards and key reports with compelling visualizations and storytelling to guide decision-making regarding Everest’s talent and organizational practices.
Partner with HR, Finance, and IT to ensure data consistency, governance, and integration across systems.
Analyze trends in compensation, attrition, talent, and organizational health to inform business decisions.
Support succession planning, job architecture alignment, and organizational design through scenario modeling.
Partner with finance models and Workday reports to support real-time planning and analytics.
Enable HR teams with self-service analytics and reduce manual reporting through automation and scalable tools.
Qualifications
8+ years of experience in People Analytics, Workforce Planning, or HR Strategy roles
Proven expertise in Workday (certifications a plus)
Strong analytical and modeling skills; experience with data visualization tools, such as Excel, SQL, Python, R, and visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau
Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across HR, Finance, and IT
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field
Knowledge, Skills & Competencies
Technical Knowledge
Deep understanding of HRIS systems (especially Workday) and enterprise planning tools
Proficiency in data modeling, forecasting, and scenario planning
Strong command of data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) and advanced Excel
Analytical & Strategic Thinking
Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
Strong business acumen with a focus on aligning analytics to organizational goals
Experience supporting OKRs, organizational design, and talent strategy
Collaboration & Communication
Proven ability to partner cross-functionally with HR, Finance, and IT
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
Experience presenting to executive leadership and driving data-informed decisions
Leadership & Execution
Demonstrated success in leading analytics initiatives in a global, matrixed environment
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-impact outcomes under tight timelines
