Entry-Level Assembler

Join our dynamic team as an Entry-Level Assembler! In this role, you will be involved in a variety of engaging assembly and sub-assembly tasks that are essential to our production process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare for your assembly tasks by reviewing detailed assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists. Gather necessary parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials efficiently.
• Position parts and subassemblies accurately by utilizing templates or measurement tools.
• Assemble components by examining their connections for a perfect fit and fastening them securely.
• Assist in building prototypes and other specialized assembly projects outside of standard production as required.
• Maintain a safe and orderly working environment by adhering to established procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Use equipment and supplies responsibly to help conserve resources and achieve optimal job results.
• Contribute to the team environment by sharing your knowledge and training others on basic assembly tasks when needed.
• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards before passing it onto the next phase of production.
• Document your actions by filling out production and quality forms accurately.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• High School diploma or GED, or a combination of relevant work experience and skill development.
• Preferably 0-1 year of experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Comfortable using small hand and power tools safely.
• Able to read and interpret drawings and Bills of Material effectively.
• Basic computer skills are necessary.
• Proficient in reading instructions and understanding verbal directions in English.

Physical Requirements:

• This job is classified as Medium - Heavy Physical Demand Level by the US Department of Labor.
• Frequent lifting demands include: lifting up to 75 pounds occasionally (with assistance), lifting up to 40 pounds frequently, and carrying up to 40 pounds occasionally for up to 25 feet.
• Postural demands include: continuous standing and walking, frequent bending/stooping, and frequent lifting.
• Must be able to perform tasks requiring gripping, manipulation, and use of hand/power tools regularly.

The hourly pay ranges between $20 - $24, depending on your skills, experience, and qualifications.
