Our global teams of analysts, journalists and consultants cover the pharmaceutical, biomedical and MedTech industries with insights on key diseases, clinical trials, drug R&D and approvals, market forecasts and more. We are looking for a Solution Consultant who can accelerate AI solutions across clinical trial strategy, planning and execution. This role suits you if you are versatile, adaptive, and eager to apply AI across clinical trial planning, feasibility, and recruitment to help clients meet business goals using Citeline’s evolving suite of solutions and services. You will bring subject matter expertise in life sciences and practical AI applications, collaborating with Sales and Implementation to deliver value through AI-enabled solutions that accelerate trial timelines and improve patient engagement and recruitment. This role partners with Sales, Implementation and Product to identify and qualify sponsor needs and opportunities for AI applications. You will communicate how Citeline’s AI-enabled solutions meet those needs and understand customer requirements, with a firm understanding of Citeline Clinical AI solutions including Real World Data (RWD) use cases, protocol, feasibility, and recruitment. Responsibilities
Provide subject matter expertise on client calls to demonstrate the value of our Clinical Solutions combining platform, AI analytics, services and Real World Data offerings to support use cases across the clinical lifecycle including clinical trial planning, feasibility, and patient engagement and recruitment. Bring technical and business credibility to AI conversations with clients, translating complex AI concepts into clear, value-driven narratives aligned to clinical trial objectives. Identify and qualify AI use cases across clinical trial planning, feasibility, and recruitment, collaborating with Product to validate and formalize them into the roadmap. Provide AI solutioning support on strategic customer engagements to develop custom instances and bespoke solutions leveraging Citeline data assets, AI models, products and services. Act as a subject matter expert in Citeline’s AI solutions, including understanding the data powering them, development methodologies, and validation processes. Lead client discovery sessions to uncover unmet needs and propose AI-enabled solutions that accelerate trial timelines and improve patient engagement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to pilot and refine AI solutions, ensuring clinical relevance, technical feasibility, and measurable impact. Collaborate with Sales teams across all account segments (new logos, existing accounts small biotech through large pharma). Accountable for attributing deals toward the team’s sales targets as set forth by the business. Independently manage a solution/technical qualification with a compelling proposal that results in new business. Present analysis of Citeline Connect solution to customers as part of consultative sales and value analysis. Support pre-sales activities to support Sales including building business cases and executive summaries, presenting use cases and therapy area case studies, collaborating on pricing and negotiations, and communicating project implementation activities and timelines. Partner with internal stakeholders such as Product Management and Sales to share feedback and drive continuous improvements in Citeline’s AI offering to BioPharma. Coordinate internally with Implementation for pre-sales scoping and for RFI/RFP processes. Test new clinical offerings with potential clients and share feedback to drive innovation and ensure product-market fit in complex selling situations. Utilize Citeline’s Salesforce CRM to document all pre-sales activities. Qualifications
5+ years experience in clinical trial related business (CRO, trial recruitment, consulting, or biopharmaceutical company). A passion for healthcare, life sciences, data/analytics, AI and technology. Proven experience identifying AI use cases in clinical or life sciences settings and supporting them to PoC or pilot. Strong understanding of data science principles (ML, NLP, predictive analytics) and ability to translate to business value. Hands-on experience with AI-powered platforms or tools in healthcare or clinical trials. Ability to assess AI model performance, data quality, and validation approaches for clinical and regulatory robustness. Track record collaborating with product and engineering teams to shape AI solutions based on client needs and market trends. Working knowledge of the global Pharmaceutical industry, in particular Clinical Trial Recruitment. Technical proficiency with a track record presenting to pharmaceutical & biotech clients. Experience collaborating with commercial teams and other internal departments. Ability to engage senior stakeholders confidently and credibly. Curiosity to learn the Pharma industry and our products and stay current on AI development for credible conversations. Ability to articulate complex solutions clearly and succinctly. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
