You will participate in all facets of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process for systems assigned. You will be responsible for the day-to-day security posture and continuous monitoring of information systems and ensuring information system security measures comply with applicable government policies. You will lead the execution of the Cybersecurity Campaign Plans to make Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE) enclaves and systems continuously "cybersecurity inspection-ready". You will provide cybersecurity technical evaluation of security risks, threats and vulnerabilities of networks, systems, applications and new technology initiatives. You will provide support in the security based planning, implementation, and sustainment of new requirements. You will provide informed program-related advice, information, and guidance regarding current and future information systems concepts, doctrine, methods, practices, operations, and technologies. Qualifications
Resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate: applying Information Technology (IT) security principles to monitor and evaluate systems' compliance with cybersecurity requirements. Conditions and Requirements
Must be a US Citizen. Must be determined suitable for federal employment. Must participate in the direct deposit pay program. New employees to the Department of the Navy will be required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check. Will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty.
