Overview
Information Systems Administrator - ITS1 at Minnesota IT Services. This role is responsible for developing, operating, maintaining, and evaluating the Minnesota State Arts Board’s computer network and data management systems to ensure the accuracy and security of agency data and to support agency grant programs. The Information Systems Administrator oversees data collection, data management, and data reporting for the agency. Responsibilities
Develop, operate, maintain, and evaluate network and data management systems. Ensure accuracy and security of agency data and support grant programs. Manage data collection, data management, and data reporting for the agency. Minimum Qualifications
Position requires a minimum of one (1) year of IT related experience in data management, use of databases, writing queries and application systems management and support. Computer networking, hardware and software setup and maintenance. Previous experience providing application data support to a group of business users. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Ability to deliver effective verbal or written messages that facilitate mutual understanding. Customer service skills including active listening, empathy, and problem-solving. An associate’s degree or higher in Information Technology or an IT-related field substitutes for one (1) year of experience. Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in a grant-making organization. Three (3) years of professional experience in data management, use of databases, and writing queries. Additional Requirements
Pass all legally required checks prior to employment (SEMA4 Records Check for current/past state employees, Criminal History Check, Reference Check, Social Security and Address Verification, Education Verification, and other legally required checks). Minnesota IT Services does not participate in E-Verify and will not sponsor work visas. All applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Work Location and Telework
This position requires onsite presence at 540 Fairview Ave North, St. Paul, Minnesota at least 50% of the time, with limited telework opportunities. Telework eligibility for Minnesota IT Services is limited and subject to eligibility requirements. Compensation and Benefits
Salary range: $25.54 - $38.34 hourly; $53,327 - $80,053 annually.
