Overview

Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Full Time, Entry Level/Hourly Programmer in various locations. This role involves supporting the full life-cycle development of spacecraft flight software solutions, including requirements analysis, object oriented analysis & design, coding and unit testing, integration, and support to formal test/delivery. The work supports NASA exploration initiatives and U.S. Intelligence Community needs. Responsibilities

Support the full life-cycle development of spacecraft flight software solutions, including requirements analysis, object oriented analysis & design, code and unit test, integration, and support to formal test/delivery. Collaborate with experienced engineers to create solutions enabling space exploration and intelligence community objectives. Qualifications

Associate degree in Computer Science / Engineering, Information Technology, Cyber Security or related discipline or technical training, or related work experience. Completed coursework toward a related degree may be considered. Must be a US Citizen; this position is located at a facility that requires special access. Ability to obtain security clearance. Desired Skills

Ability to work in an agile environment and handle multiple priorities and internal customers. Experience with Python, Matlab, Simulink, R, or equivalent data science toolsets. Familiar with real-time development environments and languages (C, C++). Network experience – LAN/WAN/TCP/IP. Information Security domain knowledge. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office. Security and Clearance

Security Clearance Statement:

This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

TS/SCI w/Poly. Work Environment and Logistics

Onsite full-time work at a Lockheed Martin facility. Schedule: 9x80 every other Friday off; Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules. Compensation and Benefits

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range varies by location (examples shown: California/New York most metropolitan areas: $55,900 - $93,035; other locations: salary reflects final work location). Benefits offered:
