Controller

to oversee key accounting functions and support a flexible, team-oriented environment. In this role, you will lead construction accounting processes such as monthly close, reconciliations, cost-to-complete reviews, and WIP reporting. You will oversee revenue recognition under ASC 606, backlog forecasting, billing, collections, and cash flow planning. This role manages system transitions, audit coordination, labor tracking, and subcontractor compliance. Additional responsibilities span internal controls, payroll and tax compliance, and strategic financial partnership with operations and leadership. The ideal candidate will bring a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, with CPA licensure preferred. A minimum of 5 years in construction accounting at a senior level (Controller or Assistant Controller) is required. Experience with accounting software selection and implementation, financial analysis, and construction-specific reporting is essential. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with external partners such as CPA firms and auditors are also important.
