Senior Accountant

A rapidly growing Miami-based private equity firm focused on investing in lower middle market companies is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional to gain exposure to both management company and fund accounting within a dynamic private equity environment. You’ll work closely with experienced leadership and have clear potential for advancement as the firm continues to grow. Key Responsibilities Perform month- and quarter-end close and maintain general ledgers across multiple entities Prepare and support management company reporting packages Work directly with fund administrators on financial data and analysis Manage AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and vendor relationships Assist with audits, tax returns, capital call notices, and investor communications Contribute to process improvements and upcoming ERP/automation initiatives What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance (Master’s or CPA track preferred) 2–5 years of public accounting experience (audit or tax; fund/financial-services clients a plus) Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and general ledger accounting Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics, or Sage Intacct a plus Interest in automation, Alteryx, Power Automate, or similar tools Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and eagerness to grow within a small, high-impact team Ability to work on-site full-time in Miami office.
