The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the accounting team and ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness of all financial operations. This role emphasizes leadership, process improvement, internal controls, and system alignment (including Salesforce and ERP integrations) to support the company\'s growth. Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Accounting Manager drives accountability, builds scalable processes, and partners across departments to ensure financial clarity and alignment with company strategy. Responsibilities

Oversee the monthly close process and preparation of financial statements. Ensure accuracy of budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses. Provide oversight in AP/AR to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Review commission entry/tracking in Salesforce and validate monthly reporting. Compile and analyze financial data to present insights and trends to leadership. Controls & Compliance

Develop, document, and enforce accounting policies and SOPs. Maintain reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger integrity. Partner with external auditors on audits and compliance reviews. Ensure adherence to GAAP and regulatory requirements. Process Improvement & Systems

Streamline workflows and identify opportunities for automation. Support Salesforce and Sage/ERP integration for efficiency and accuracy. Lead projects that improve reporting, data visibility, and scalability. Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor\'s degree in accounting or related field required. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory roles. Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting. Proficiency in Sage 50 (or similar ERP) and Salesforce. Advanced knowledge in Excel or other reporting/data analytics tools. Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills. Excellent communication skills with ability to partner across teams. Equal Employment Opportunity
