As a global function of approximately 850 team members, Group Audit (GA) is the bank's 'Third Line of Defence’ acting as an independent and forward-looking challenger and adviser to Senior Management. Support the Head of QA in the delivery of finding validations, with a primary focus on US-related validations; responsibilities include handling validations of complex Critical/Significant Findings across the team, ensuring completion on time, on quality, and on budget, as well as oversight and guidance of other involved team members Complete assigned work orders & validation reviews within agreed timeframes; coordinate and escalate when necessary, involving relevant stakeholders Keep abreast of regulatory and audit-related developments and ensure effective communication to enhance regulatory knowledge throughout the wider GA team Communicate openly with stakeholders in various locations and partner with audit teams responsible for auditing business processes and controls Proactively build and maintain professional working relationships with colleagues and other parts of the business; contribute to development of methodological approaches Support or lead on other core QA products, such as file and thematic reviews as needed How You’ll Lead

Lead by example and guide involved team members in completing work Act as a coach to develop the experience and competence level of the team Skills You’ll Need

Ability to lead and coordinate several audit projects in parallel; oversee scope completion and quality of work Good knowledge of (US) regulatory requirements and understanding of the risk and control environment in financial services Deep understanding and/or extensive experience auditing within an investment bank; IB/CB audit experience, remediation activities or QA is a plus Experience in an audit function within financial services, with leadership of audits or finding validations in a fast-paced environment Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline; Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, Juris Doctor) and professional certifications (CPA, CIA, CFA, FRM, CFE, etc.) preferred Skills That Will Help You Excel

Experience building meaningful relationships and strong communication skills to articulate complex issues clearly Strong analytical and structured thinking; ability to describe control weaknesses and risks; proactive and organized to meet objectives and budgets It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Jacksonville, FL office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.
