What This Role Will Do
Maintain appropriate atmosphere (room temperature, cleanliness, line of sight, table maintenance, room capacity)
Conduct operations with a Guest First mindset
Ensure all recap forms are completed for OM to submit
Perform opening, ongoing and closing duties
Participate in daily pre-shift with an upbeat and motivational manner
Log nightly night of show reports and staff/guest incident reports.
Conduct safety, cleaning and maintenance walk-through – interior and exterior of building
Check ticket counts with box office before shift begins
Check email and mailbox for current information
Fill out and distribute NOS event sheets
Facilitate proper inter-departmental communication and organization
Be on radio at time of clock in and assist with radio communication
Make sure all staff are present on time, clock in, sign in and are in uniform. Informing OM if anyone is not following check in instructions.
Check ADA and ensure proper seats are placed. Check with box office for any pre purchased seats. Assist with seating ADA throughout the evening.
Assist with VIP and any needs they may have throughout the evening.
Turn on Tvs and menus.
Distribute NOS Wristbands and make sure they are in proper bundles
Sell and check in bag check
Assist OM with M&G needs
Required
Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification or Equivalent
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to work late hours
Flexible schedule
3 years supervisory experience in high volume restaurant/music hall environment
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and Point of Sales system, preferably MICROS
Knowledge of state, federal and local liquor laws and health code regulations
Ability to deal with intoxicated guests in a positive and safety minded manner
Tolerance of all cultures, music and art forms
Skilled in decision making, leadership, guest relations, interpersonal communications, organization, team building, time management, and staff management
Ability to motivate staff, problem solve, lead, delegate, follow up, deal with volatile situations with tact and confidence
Preferred
At least 2 years experience with a national restaurant chain
Experience in a live music environment
College diploma in related field
Physical Demands/Working Environment
Working environment is fast-paced, often loud and stressful
Position requires extended periods of prolonged standing and working on your feet
Must be able to lift or move up to 25 lbs using proper lifting techniques

The Expected Compensation For This Position Is $17.60 USD - $22.00 USD Hourly
