Opportunity Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and strategic
Technical Project Manager
to lead a complex, cross-functional initiative spanning
Marketing, Customer Experience, Product Management, Engineering, and Programmatic teams . This one-year project is a top organizational priority and will be executed in close partnership with the
Chief Product & Innovation Officer . The ideal candidate is an empathetic yet proactive communicator, a systems thinker, and an experienced project leader who can drive alignment, remove roadblocks, and ensure timely delivery of outcomes across multiple workstreams. Nonprofit or social impact work is an advantage.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end project planning and execution for a high-visibility, cross-functional initiative. Coordinate across departments to align goals, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and engaged. Facilitate regular check-ins, stand-ups, and steering committee meetings, providing clear updates on progress, risks, and dependencies. Develop and maintain project documentation, including roadmaps, timelines, risk registers, and status reports. Identify and mitigate risks proactively, escalating issues when necessary to ensure project continuity. Track and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and milestones, ensuring accountability and transparency across teams. Serve as the primary point of contact between the project teams and the Chief Product & Innovation Officer, translating strategic vision into actionable plans. Core Competencies:
TECHNICAL
5+ years of experience in technical project management, preferably in a cross-functional environment with mission-based organizations. Proven success managing large-scale, multi-team projects with complex stakeholder landscapes. Strong understanding of product development lifecycles, marketing operations, and customer experience principles. Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and/or hybrid project management methodologies. Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Smartsheet, Confluence). Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), experience with SharePoint, Asana, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Dynamics is preferred.
COMMUNICATION
Must embrace the participatory approach with excellent communication, collaboration, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills. Effective communicator with strong written, verbal, and public speaking skills experienced in engaging with diverse audiences and teams.
LEADERSHIP
Ability to hold space for competing team needs and strategic objectives while managing project expectations and staying adaptable to changing situations. Emotional intelligence and ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, problem solve and drive clarity in fast-paced environments. Experience in successfully working with a diverse group of constituents with cultural competence, intentional listening, appreciation, and collaboration while maintaining a calm and positive spirit. Personal Qualifications:
