About the role

As a Claims Team Lead, Litigation at Reserv, you will be a working leader supporting a claims manager with leadership and claim technical responsibilities. Leadership includes overseeing adjusting staff serving a commercial auto delivery & rideshare client. You will leverage technology and analytics to drive operational effectiveness and performance. This role balances management responsibilities and individual contributor responsibilities when volume requires assisting with a claim. Who you are

We need you to perform the typical responsibilities of the role: Oversee a team of commercial auto adjuster direct reports Implement and maintain best practices for claims handling: intake, investigation, evaluation, settlement, and recovery Align team with client and customer expectations of the claims process Serve as a resource for escalated claims Foster a positive work environment, promote teamwork, and encourage professional growth Attract, hire, retain, and provide high-level training with support from the leadership team Prepare and present comprehensive claims reports, metrics, and analyses to clients; advise on claim trends and loss mitigation Serve as backup/leader when the Manager is out of the office Oversee initial onboarding tasks/access and new-hire cultural immersion Increased reserve and payment authority with the ability to assist with moderate reviews Identify topics for team Huddles and Elevated Claims Experience Workshops led or co-led by Team Leads, Managers, and Reserv staff Requirements

Active insurance adjuster’s license in designated home state or home state Bachelor's degree (not strictly required if you possess other qualifications) 5+ years of insurance claims experience across multiple lines with litigated bodily injury experience 3+ years of leadership experience; preferably in a remote environment Experience with auto delivery & rideshare claims is required Comfortable with technology; ability to evolve claims systems and processes to drive efficiency and outcomes Commitment to quality, accuracy, and attention to detail Integrity, ethics, and accountability in handling confidential information Willing to obtain all licenses within 60 days, including state-required testing Knowledge of state regulations, policy provisions, and standard operating procedures Willingness to travel for clients and claims needs Generous benefits: health, vision, dental; nationwide coverage 401(k) with employer matching Competitive PTO; aims for employee well-being and energy Generous family leave policy after 8 months of continuous work Work from anywhere to support work-life balance Equipment: Apple laptop, large monitor, and other QoL gear Additional information
