Student Support Coordinator (4555C), Disabled Students Program

Join the University of California, Berkeley as a Student Support Coordinator (4555C) in the Disabled Students Program. The Disabled Students’ Program (DSP) ensures equal access to educational opportunities at UC Berkeley and helps students achieve academic success. The program provides legally mandated services to students with disabilities and consists of approximately 50 FTE, serving over 6500 students. The DSP Scholars Service Support Coordinator will support DSP Scholars Students Support Services objectives by coordinating financial literacy, career, and personal/cultural enrichment activities and workshops, managing the financial literacy program, and maintaining data collection, entry, maintenance, analysis, and reporting activities. Responsibilities include: Coordinating student services and support, including financial literacy education and coaching. Developing and implementing strategies to support financial literacy among students and staff. Providing administrative support to the DSP Scholar Program, including record-keeping and report generation. Assisting with outreach and recruitment efforts, including managing social media accounts and creating program materials. Required qualifications include: Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2 years of experience in financial education, credit counseling, or a related area. Advanced written and oral communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Excellent database management and report generation skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive data. Preferred qualifications include proficiency in G-suite enterprise, Microsoft Office, and internet research, as well as knowledge of financial literacy and counseling issues. The budgeted annual salary range for this position is $30.17 - $34.48. This is a full-time, career position that is eligible for UC benefits.
