The Opportunity & Key Responsibilities This is a high-autonomy, high-impact role for someone eager to manage capital formation across our private investment platforms. You will work directly with Aker’s Founders to drive fundraising with family offices, institutions, and high-net-worth individuals. You will sit at the center of every major investor touchpoint—from weekly engagements to conferences—ensuring the right materials, conversations, and follow-ups are always in motion. You’ll work directly with the Founders to: Drive Capital Formation:

Support the Founders in raising equity capital for Aker’s fund business and joint ventures. Investor Engagement:

Serve as a point of contact for prospective and current investors, managing follow-ups, correspondence, and proactive relationship-building. Fundraising Execution:

Own the fundraising calendar—ensuring presence at key meetings, conferences, and roadshows. Manage internal CRM and ensure disciplined follow-up. Materials & Communications:

Draft investor-facing emails, coordinate Q&A, and partner with the investments team to prepare pitchbooks, memos, and diligence responses. Pipeline Management:

Keep the fundraising pipeline organized, track progress, and ensure focus on the highest-priority initiatives. Use AI to amplify efficiency and impact. Growth Path:

Play a key role in building the Investor Relations function. Top performers will have the opportunity to grow into VP/Head of IR or a Chief of Staff track with significant firm-wide influence. Minimum Qualifications Education:

Bachelor’s degree from a leading university. Experience:

2–5 years in investment banking, private equity, fundraising, or another high-performance investing environment. Core Skills: EQ as a superpower—able to connect with seasoned CIOs, family offices, and first-time LPs. Exceptional organizational discipline; thrives in fast-moving, high-stakes environments. Strong judgment and investment intuition; anticipates needs and stays two steps ahead. Entrepreneurial mindset with urgency, ownership, and adaptability.
