Under the guidance of the Human Resource Consultant 5, this pivotal role offers advanced-level professional HR support to the managers and supervisors of the Alaska Marine Highway System (AMHS). You\'ll be at the forefront, providing expert advice and guidance on HR policies and procedures, tackling personnel management, employee and labor relations, bargaining agreements, classification, and absence management. This position may be filled in either Anchorage or Juneau. Our Juneau office is located in Juneau and our Anchorage office is located at 2200 E 42nd Avenue. After training and with supervisor approval, in-state telework options are available.DOT&PF employees work in various locations, including remote locations and urban centers, addressing transportation needs across Alaska.
